As for my mentors I'd say Jason Kottke and Dooce. They're the two writers (who write for the web) that I admire the most. In terms of design, it's difficult to define just a few. There are too many designers out there that I admire, but recently I've got a liking towards the Brits, <a href="http://kevinleitch.co.uk" title="Kevin Leitch" rel="nofollow">Kev</a>, <a href="http://stuffandnonsense.co.uk" title="Andy Malarkey" rel="nofollow">Malarkey</a> and the the gardener <a href="http://joshuaink.com" title="John Oxton" rel="nofollow">Mr. Oxton</a>. Yeah, me too :D I’m a huge Dooce fan, and start the day with Kottke.
