A Book Baton

2005.07.20

Kev passed me a book baton, and being one who can’t live without books, did my bit.

Number of books on the shelf

Lots. A whole wall of them, and some more lying here and there… I’ve read most, except my father’s collection of dramas.

Last book purchased

Fundamentals of Marketing - Philip Kotler and Gary Armstrong
Does that count as a “book”?

Book reading right now

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead - Tom Stoppard

Last 5 books read

  • Colpetty People - Ashok Ferrey
  • Look Back in Anger - John Osborne
  • Unleashing the Ideavirus - Seth Godin
  • Vismitha Avabodhaya - Ven. Kiribathgoda Gnanananda Thero
  • The Ground Beneath Her Feet - Salman Rushdie

Books that mean a lot to me

Prabuddha by Mahagamasekera, Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, Complete Works of Khalil Gibran, Lord of the Rings, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Midnight’s Children by Salman Rushdie, God of Small Things by Arundhati Roi, The Tao of Programming by Geoffrey James.
