Vesess featured in “Web Designing”
2006.02.05
After launching our second redesign a few months back, vesess.com was featured in several online design/css galleries. However, making it in to a printed publication is always a special thing, especially when it’s Japan’s leading web design magazine Web Designing.

The four page article discusses the various markup and css characteristics of our site, with screen grabs and illustrations. Thanks to Miki Ofuji for dissecting our code.
It’s small achievements like these that make me proud to be a part of this unique team.

I checked the Vesses site on IE7 why the header logo overlaps with the header text ? Some clumsy CSS bug in IE7 maybe.

We’re not really bothered to “fix” our sites for IE7 until it comes out of beta. Between the beta and the final version there’s bound to be a lot of bugs being squashed and introduced anew. It’s best to wait till M$ get their things in order before worrying about our sites.
