Aha, that's very good. I like it.

Hayo: "Windows for Mac" is called Vista, since that will support the BIOS-replacing EFI boot-thingamy.

Why? Because it's white?!

It's too chunky to be a mac laptop...it looks more like a stylised Thinkpad. ;)

That is a Dell laptop that is vectrized and stylized to look white. It is probably an image from a stock photo site.

Oh com'on guys, thinkpads and Dells don't open as drawn in the illustration. Macs are the only laptops I've seen where the screen folds like that.

Dells don't use Apple's hinge design that pulls the screen back and down when you open it.

Whilst I completely agree that getting into anything close to an argument about this is very, very silly... I will point out that the look+dimensions are extremely close to the 12" iBook sat to my right. The picture is marginally chunkier, but well inside the reasonable realms of artistic license.

Now if people would just take it at the face value of "Ha Ha, it looks like an iBook!", God can stop killing kittens.

I'm not surprised since a lot of designers and illustrators still use Macs for their work, and injecting the obligatory "hidden" (to the otherwise clueless) Mac reference is expected.

Oh, and Powerbooks make nice heated pillows.

Well guys,

Just a few weeks after your comments above (end March) Apple released "Booot Camp" (beta) that enables the Mac to run Microsoft Windows XP as a native operating system. So you could startup your Mac as a Mac or a PC (Windows).

See details at: http://www.apple.com/getamac/windows.html

We have, in Colombo, run most memory intensive PC games and various other applications on Mac+Windows combination, and we are very impressed.

Running Windows will never add anything new to the Mac, but this is a great opportunity for those PC users who has a taste for style and design. And the price is very competitive too.

So, no more excuses.
