Where was I?

Where was I one year ago?

Pretty much at the same place: working at Vesess with a slightly different team. We were at a different location too: in a technology incubator, a bit too crowded and cramped compared to the nice office we have now. Things were not going so well those days either.

Where was I five years ago?

The school big match was just over, and after spending weeks with Thiva on designing the boys tent, it was time to start doing some proper studying. I was trying to figure out how on earth I was going to pass my AL’s with decent grades. This period was marked with frustration, anger and general bastardiness.

Where was I ten years ago?

I was in Year 9 at school. Too tall and too skinny for the shorts I was wearing, too nerdy to attract any of the girls I was chasing, and too gullible for my own good.

It’s time to pass it on. I wonder where this Lankan boy, this American girl, and this Kiwi were those days.
